Bologna and its hidden treasures
Who would have guessed that it was possible to find some of the masterpieces of Italian art, Cimabue and Michelangelo, in two of the churches of the city, 
and Giotto and Raffaello in one of the most important art galleries of the entire region.
And what about Caracci? It should not be forgotten that one of the highest prices paid for a painting of this era was for a work executed by Annibale Caracci.
The various followers of this school have left important works in Bologna and they can be seen in different churches and noble residences in the city.
