Ferrara, The Renaissance city
The tour begins with a visit to Schifanoia Palace, one of the so called “Delizie” of the Este family. Here we can find the Hall of the Months 
with its fifteenth century frescos which represent the largest cycle of pagan frescos existing in Europe.
Here the greatest local painters of the Renaissance worked, Cosmè Tura, Franceso del Cossa and Ercole Roberti. Our tour continues with a visit to the Cathedral in Romanesque-Gothic style with its Renaissanceapse, the courtyard of the former Ducal Palace, and then a short walk to the Este Castle, proceeding to the Renaissance city, with its wide elegant streets and the famous Diamond Palace.
