This tour follows the streets, the squares and the gardens described by Bassani in his novels, the most famous of which being The Garden of the Finzi Contini and includes finzi contini_web the area near the Renaissance walls. The visit includes the streets of the Jewish Ghetto with its Synagogue, the Castle, the arcades of the city Theatre described in One Night in′43 the parkland around the Certosa(the monumental cemetery of Ferrara) and the Jewish cemetery with the tomb of Bassani. The Synagogue and the local Jewish museum located inside the building can be visited upon appointment.
